When: Saturday, October 7 | 9 a.m. to ~2:30 p.m.
What: A walk designed for those who want to explore the Crosstown Trail in two steps. The journey begins at Sunrise Point in Candlestick Point State Recreation Area and ends at the Forest Hill MUNI Station. Pack a lunch and enjoy the 8.5-mile walk!
When: Saturday, October 7 | 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
What: A community clean-up day at the Brotherhood Greenway. The day starts with coffee and mochi muffins, followed by a Metta Stretch session before the clean-up activities begin.
When: Sunday, October 8 | 10 a.m. to ~2:30 p.m.
What: A 9-mile walk that combines stretches of the Crosstown Trail and the new Double Cross. The walk starts at Golden Gate Park’s Flywheel Coffee Kiosk and ends at McCoppin Square.
When: Saturday, October 14 | 10 a.m. to ~12:30 p.m.
What: Tackle the two biggest climbs of the Crosstown Trail, starting from the Glen Park BART plaza and ending at the N-Judah MUNI Metro stop.
When: Saturday, October 14 | 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
What: A day dedicated to improving a section of the Crosstown Trail. Volunteers will work on trail maintenance and habitat restoration.
When: Saturday, October 14 | 1 to ~3 p.m.
What: A 6-8 mile bike loop that explores the center of San Francisco, starting and ending at the SF Urban Riders Container at Laguna Honda.
When: Saturday, October 21 | 9 or 10 a.m. to ~2:30 p.m.
What: A combined native habitat restoration event and nature walk on Section 3 of the Crosstown Trail.
When: Saturday, October 21 | 9 a.m. to ~2:30 p.m.
What: The second part of the divided Crosstown Trail walk, starting at the Forest Hill MUNI Station and ending at the Lands End Lookout Visitor Center.
When: Tuesday, October 24 | 10 a.m. to ~12:30 p.m.
What: A 5.1-mile hilly walk that combines sections of the Crosstown Trail and the Double Cross Trail, starting at the Glen Park BART station.
When: Saturday, October 28 | 9 a.m. to ~noon
What: A Halloween-themed walk through Section 5 of the Crosstown Trail, starting at the Lands End Trailhead.
When: Saturday, October 28 | 9 a.m. to late afternoon
What: A walk along the entire 17-mile Crosstown Trail, starting at Sunrise Point in Candlestick Point State Recreation Area.
